Our Story

From the Mediterranean to Watertown.

A small café built on a big-table tradition: good ingredients, patient cooking and the simple joy of gathering in the morning.

Inside the cafe

A place for long breakfasts.

In the Mediterranean, breakfast is not a meal to rush. Olives, cheese, ripe tomatoes, warm bread and fresh herbs come to the table, conversations run long and the coffee keeps coming. We opened PISHI to bring that habit to Mt. Auburn Street.

Our kitchen starts early every morning. We chop our own vegetables, make our own spreads and cook every plate to order. The menu shifts with the seasons, and whatever is good that week finds its way to the table.

Olive oil, fresh herbs, and good company.

What We Believe

Three rules for every plate.

01

Market fresh

We buy seasonal produce and, wherever we can, from local New England farms.

02

Made by hand

Spreads, sauces and sweets are made in our kitchen every morning.

03

Never rushed

Your table is yours. Refill your coffee and stay as long as you like.
